Q. How do I get a copy of a police report?

Q. How do I get a copy of an accident report?
A. All accidents that happen on a public roadway, cause significant damage, or result in serious injury or fatality are completed and submitted through the Arkansas Department of Public Safety (DPS) eCRASH system by the officer dispatched to your call. Typically, your insurance company will obtain a copy of the report on your behalf once they are notified and the report is completed and available. You can look up and download your own copy from the AR DPS crash reports website by providing your details or details about the accident. If you need assistance in person, please visit the Batesville Police Department during office hours. Both DPS and BPD charge a small fee for copies of the report provided.
